CHANGING A TIRE
For older cars this was a fairly common thing to know. Before run flat tires you had to be able to change a tire or you could get stranded somewhere. The spare tire in the e46 is hidden under the trunk along with all the tools you need to change the tire.Step #1
The tire is held in place with a scew in the middle. Just undo the butterfly nut and then don't kill your back lifting the tire out.STEP #2:
One of the most important things about changing a tire is to use the lug nuts to center the tire. As such I get them finger tight first then I use this pattern to tighten them down. This helps keep the tire centered on the hub.
