ALTERNATOR REPLACEMENT Steps #1 & 2
The alternator generates electricity for the car. Some signs that it is wearing out is that your battery will appear to be failing because it doesn't have enough power. If the battery checks out then its most likely that the alternator is not properly charging your battery. First step is to disconnect the battery. Second is to unplug the alternator from the car.Step #3
Make sure your parts work for your vehicle. The part I got was: Alternator Replacement #12-31-7-501-599-M262 Disconnect alternator from battery.STEP #4:
The only thing left is the bolt holding the alternator to the engine block. Unscrew and then you can remove the alternator. It is heavy and little awkward to move.
